In 1994, when Mama and Daddy had their
wedding,
the parents in Mama's day care program gave them some money to buy plants.
The following spring, four rhododendron bushes and a magnolia found their
way to our front yard.
Each spring, the rhododendrons have brought forth colored blossoms, but
the poor magnolia--despite care and feeding--had only plain leaves.
This year, as Mama and Daddy's family blossomed with the addition of a child (me!), the wedding tree blossomed also.
